Privacy

this notice covers mattybuildsit.com and mattheiting.com. updated september 30, 2026.

Optional analytics

if you allow analytics, Google Analytics helps me understand visits, how people find these sites, and which links they use. it uses cookies and receives information such as the page visited, campaign source, browser and device information, and interactions with links.

if you allow analytics, Metricool also measures visits on these public pages so i can compare website traffic with content performance. its website tracker does not use cookies. requests carry technical information such as your IP address and browser information; Metricool uses the IP address to determine country. it does not receive the contents of project inquiry fields from our integration. read Metricool's privacy policy.

the two sites share a Google Analytics property. their Metricool reports are separate. when analytics is allowed on both sites, a link between them can carry an identifier that helps measure the visit across them. each site remembers your analytics choice separately.

analytics loads after you choose to allow it. you can decline or change your choice using “privacy & analytics” below. a browser Global Privacy Control signal keeps analytics off. changing an allowed choice to declined reloads the page to stop the optional trackers; it does not delete data already collected.

advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in this site's tag. there is no session replay. our custom events measure link actions and accepted project inquiries without sending names, email addresses, messages or the text of prompts.

Project inquiries

when you send an inquiry, Formspree processes your name, email address and project details to deliver the message to matt@mattybuildsit.com. it also processes technical information to check for spam. your message is stored in the form dashboard and my email inbox so i can review and respond to it.

these details are used to discuss your inquiry. submitting the form does not subscribe you to a mailing list. please avoid sending passwords or sensitive client information. you can email me to ask about or request deletion of an inquiry.

form delivery works whether or not you allow analytics. read Formspree's privacy policy.

Hosting and other services

Vercel hosts these sites and processes requests needed to deliver and protect them. links to newsletters, videos and social platforms take you to services with their own privacy settings. Cubby has a separate privacy notice.
