Start with what you want to make better.

maybe your team needs a shared way to use AI. maybe you're moving the same information between tools. or you have an idea for an app and need someone to work through it with you and build it.

that's the work i take on through Matty Builds It.

Discuss a project

A few ways this could work.

four areas i can help with. the illustrated scenarios are starting points for a conversation.

AI setup and consulting

Illustration of shared reference documents connecting to three team instruction cards.

work out where AI can help, choose a useful starting point, and get the team ready to use it. that can include Claude team setup, shared instructions and reference material, selected connections, and a walkthrough of the actual work.

Example scenario

A shared starting point for your team

people are starting each AI conversation with different files and instructions. give them a shared setup and a practical way to use it for the job.

Automation and integrations

Illustration of a request moving through three trays with a human approval step in the middle.

connect the steps between your tools. we can work on a recurring process, an agent workflow, or an integration that saves your team from moving information by hand. we'll define where it runs, what it can change, and where a person should check the result.

Example scenario

A request that reaches the right person

a request arrives in one tool and needs action in another. connect the steps, keep ownership clear, and decide where a person approves the next action.

Web and mobile apps

Illustrated prototype of the same appointment selection on a phone and in a browser.

build an app for your customers or your own team, on the web, iOS or Android. we start with who will use it and the job it needs to do, then work through the design, build and testing. release support and ongoing maintenance are part of the scope we agree on.

Example scenario

An app people can use on their phone

an idea starts with one useful job for the person holding the phone. work through a prototype, test the core experience, and build the web or mobile version that fits.

Custom AI tools

Illustration of reference documents connected to an answer with two source markers.

build an assistant, a tool for working with your own information, or an AI feature inside an app. the work includes the connections it needs and a way to test whether its answers or actions are useful.

Example scenario

An assistant that can use your information

the answer lives somewhere in your team's documents. a connected assistant can help find the relevant material and show its sources, with access and answer quality tested against the job.

How we'll work together.

  1. 1

    Work out the job

first, we look at the problem and what you already have. then we agree on the smallest useful scope, the price and how we'll test the result.

  2. 2

    Build it together

you review the work as it takes shape. we check it against the job we agreed on and work through the parts that need adjusting.

  3. 3

    Make it yours to run

the handoff covers how to use it, what needs maintaining, and any support we've agreed on.

Know what you're getting.

the proposal will name the deliverables and where they'll live: the setup or software, the relevant source files, and the instructions someone needs to run it.

we'll also identify any accounts or subscriptions the work depends on. hosting, releases and ongoing support are agreed before they become part of the job.

a place to start

Tell me what you want to make better.

a rough idea is enough. share the job you need done, and we can work out whether i can help.

What happens next

i read your inquiry. if the work looks like a fit, we arrange a conversation and work out the scope before committing to a project.
